We are operational in the kitchen of Appartamento Lago sorrounded by the sounds ot Painè, between a rice cupola made by Irene and a Carlo’s chocolate strawberry while Andrea is preparing the meeting with Canedo and the dish ‘carne allo stato semi-brado’, you can also play with the Memory Game You Are What You Eat by Marjia Vogelzang and taste our Essen Tastes: San Martino water, Noble tonic Mikuni and Chocolate Whiskey by Kings County Distillery. Painé Cuadrelli | Sky is the limit
Sopra le nostre teste, la bellissima installazione sonora di Painé Cuadrelli Sky Is The Limit, nata con l’intento di trasformare il soffitto, che è generalmente uno spazio non vissuto, in un luogo di stimolazioni sensoriali, che possa dialogare con le persone attraverso le esperienze sonore, racconta Painé. Il soffitto del salone è popolato da palloncini colorati sospesi che, se azionati dai visitatori, producono suoni diversi. In cucina, l’installazione prosegue con sfere verdi e arancio a cui abbiamo appeso le nostre meringhe colorate. I visitatori, cogliendole, azioneranno il movimento delle sfere, che produrranno suoni di acqua in ebollizione, coltelli che tagliano verdura e tintinnii di piatti e bicchieri…

LOVE ME BENDER | BreadedEscalope
Did you remember the Thonet’s revolutionary system of steam-bending? He understood the potential of this method and stored 36 disjointed No.14 chairs for shipping inside a 1m³ box; 156 years after, BreadedEscalope made something more: in just 0.72m³, you can have an entire steam-bending workshop to be shipped to any place around the world. Don’t miss their live performances presenting the Love me Bender experiment.

Cooking Material – TDMKids | Triennale Milano
TDMKids, the didactic section of Triennale Design Museum, presents a new special lab where kid will learn little big secrets of Chemistry and Physics, for those who want to transform materials while playing. Cooking Material will take place at the Restauration Laboratory of triennale Design Museum, opening to the public for the first time.

April 17, 18 and 19 the professor Gianni-Emilio Simonetti will give three lectures inviting all the students of his Food Design course to participate. The conferences will take place in the Aula Magna of Università degli studi di Milano.

Home Made Europe | Paul Smith
After designing 200 plates for the luxury hotel Park Hyatt Milano, presented during the event Mani in Pasta! , the 18th of april the british designer will present the book Home Made Europe. Contemporary folk artifacts, by Vladimir Arkhipov. The book, published by Fuel, communicates Europe though l’Europa attraverso oggetti-simbolo di ciascuno stato.

Chez nous | Morgane Pluchon
The young designer from Lyon Morgane Pluchon is back to the Milan Design Week. After participating in 2009 to the Love Design exhibition with the Fruit Condom project (in collaboration with Quentin Simonin), she’s now presenting her ‘Soffa’ couch and ‘Diatomée’ lamp, two projects born with the aim of guarantee a perfect domestic comfort and multifuncional habitats.

Skitsch contemporary creativity, leaded by the new President Luca Bombassei, is back with new objects, presented into four groups of moods or thematic worlds: Decor, Pop, Casual, Modern. The expression of Contemporarary in this objects is signed by affirmed and emerging designers.
