In these days cherries are being celebrated and last weekend’s Vignola Cherry Festival has been succesful, so we want to celebrate its blaze of flavonoids as well by preparing the traditional conserve of Emilia grandmothers, in order to convey the feeling of preservation and tasting in time and in the calm that is necessary in summer.
If you are passionate readers, we recommend you two timeless books of Emilia grandmotherss: “L’orto di un perdigiorno. Confessioni di un apprendista ortolano” by Pia Pera published by Tea and the poetry book by Ilma Derini “Ciligie sotto spirito” published by Aliberti.
