From October 17 to 23 Musée des Confluences in Lyon opens the first edition of its festival, with the project “Mise en bouche” dedicated to our society’s eating habits and its cultural voraciousness. The program includes a “nutritional cacophony” created by artists, cartoonists, photographers and cooks.
Some examples of the menus of the Festival?
We could start with an appetizer of musical vegetables sensitive to our aura (a Scenocosme installation) or, to stay light, we could prepare our taste bads with a tasting at the atelier “A Tutto Vapore”; among the main dishes, you will be able to binge with a succulent collection of culinary comics, be surprised by the “unlikely recipes” related to the museum’s objects; and finally, with an ascending climax, let off steam with a participatory meal of the atelier “on ne joue pas à table”, just forget all the food taboos: elbows on the table and full mouth chats, from October 17 to 23 at the Festival “Mise en Bouche”.
